Stephanie championed and secured grants for the Children’s Trust programming which has been nominated for an award.

Stephanie has served as the Liason to the Miami-Dade Public Schools Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 working with the school/PTSA to enhance communication and support them in their efforts to continue to be A-rated.

Stephanie expanded senior programming and secured funding for social events for our senior residents.

Stephanie along with her fellow councilmembers conceived, created, and raised funds to build a community center that provides services to all residents of BHI.

Stephanie knows the importance of parks for our community hence she spearheaded park projects which include the Tot Lot, 98th Street Park, the remodeling of the 92th Street Park, the dog parks, and the use of the basketball courts and fields at Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8.

Stephanie demanded fiscal responsibility by seeking out grant opportunities for our bridge, our police, our town hall, and community programming so we can save more of our hard-earned tax dollars.

Stephanie demanded and secured the addition of police presence, more police patrols, and advocated for community policing, which has made us the 7th safest municipality in the state.

Stephanie led the fight for the expansion of BHI Police Marine Patrol with the purchase of two new jet skis to monitor our waterways.
